30-Second Super Bowl Ads Cost Upward of $8 Million Each—Here Are the Stunning NFL-Themed Homes You Can Buy for That Same Price

The Super Bowl is widely viewed as the sporting event of the season—with this year’s championship game predicted to draw in close to 200 million viewers across the globe.

While the main allure of the broadcast is obviously the game itself, which this year will see the Kansas City Chiefs going head to head with the Philadelphia Eagles, there is another element of the event that many look forward to: the game-time ads.

Brands have been known to spare no expense in a bid to make their mark during the hourslong on-screen event, with many enlisting major Hollywood stars in order to stand out from the crowd with their 30-second spot.

Competition among advertisers is fierce—so much so that they are reportedly being charged upward of $8 million per 30-second ad that runs during the 2025 Super Bowl, according to a report by The Guardian.

Remarkably, that price doesn’t appear to have lessened demand for an ad, with a huge number of big-name brands expected to roll out special Super Bowl campaigns when the event is broadcast Feb. 9, including Taco Bell, Uber Eats, Bud Light, Poppi, and Meta.

Multiple celebrity stars have already been revealed, including “When Harry Met Sally” stars Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal, “Saltburn” actor Barry Keoghan, singer Shania Twain, and NFL legend Tom Brady.

But while the ads will undoubtedly help the brands to earn the attention of millions, the price still seems somewhat staggering—particularly when you consider the kinds of homes you could purchase for the same amount as a 30-second Super Bowl spot.

In fact, should you venture to New Orleans—the site of this year’s Super Bowl—you will actually be hard-pressed to find a property that is priced anywhere near the $8 million ad-spot amount.

Meanwhile, a quick trip to the Philadelphia suburbs, where many Eagles players live, will turn up a stunning, 15,700-square-foot mansion available for just a hair under the ad price.

Now it’s up to you to decide whether a 30-second Super Bowl spot is really worth more than a dream house.
