Bravo legend Andy Cohen is parting ways with his meticulously renovated New York City apartment after more than two decades of ownership—and he’s enlisted fellow reality TV star and close friend Ryan Serhant to help him find a buyer for the $14 million property.
Cohen, 56, has spent the past 21 years turning the duplex into his “dream” home. It comprises four apartments that he bought up to create the enormous West Village wonderland that exists today.
At 3,500 square feet, the home is a far cry from the average Manhattan apartment—but size is not the only thing that makes this property stand out.
In addition to its celebrity listing agent and A-list owner, the apartment comes complete with three bedrooms, a nanny suite, a steam room, wood-burning fire places, and a custom-built bar area.
So unique and alluring are the interior design touches that Serhant, founder of Serhant and star of “Owning Manhattan,” admitted that he all but begged his friend to allow him to list the home when the time came for him to sell.

“The first time I ever walked into Andy’s apartment, I said, ‘Whenever you are willing to part with this, even if I have to pull it from your grip, please let me know. Because it’s a one of one,” Serhant told the New York Times, which broke the news about the sale.
“It’s one of those treasures that you wait your whole career for to find something like this that you get to bring to market and sell,” he said.
Although Cohen is leaving behind plenty of history when he moves out of the home, he isn’t going far.
The “Watch What Happens Live” host has already snapped up another West Village perch mere minutes away for $18 million. The draw? The one element his current unit lacks: terraces and outdoor space.
Along with a 3,000-square-foot interior, his new apartment offers an amazing 2,000-square-foot terrace.
That’s not to say that leaving his home of more than two decades—where he has lived for the past few years with son Benjamin, 5, and daughter Lucy, 2—will be easy, particularly because it was custom-designed for Cohen.
According to reports, Cohen collaborated with architect Gordon Kahn to combine the original units he’d purchased plus an additional two studio units into one grand duplex that features three bedrooms, a den, and a nanny suite. His spread also has spectacular views of two iconic Manhattan landmarks, the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building.

Color dominates many rooms, from the blues and greens in the living areas to the cobalt blue bespoke cabinets in the kitchen. There’s also a lacquer red powder room entry and a royal purple rug on the floor of the primary suite.
Cohen’s chic dwelling boasts amenities found in few other New York City apartments. Those rarities include wood-burning fireplaces, a steam room, and ample closets, along with three storage units.
The main bedroom features its own fireplace and beautiful city views, while the en suite bathroom features a teak tub, marble vanity, and steam shower.
But the most stunning aspect of the home just might be the custom staircase made from walnut, steel, and glass, designed by Kahn.
Cohen is an Emmy-winning producer of “Top Chef,” which won Outstanding Reality Competition Program in 2010. He’s garnered 18 other Emmy nominations for such shows as “Project Runway,” “Top Chef,” and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.”
Cohen is also the author of multiple books, the host of two Sirius XM channels, and the host and executive producer of the Emmy-nominated talk show “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”
Most recently, Cohen has traveled the nation with Anderson Cooper for “AC2: An Intimate Evening with Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen.”
