A dedicated gun enthusiast has opened the doors to an astonishing $1 million underground man cave he built inside his home—revealing he spent 20 years outfitting the space with every possible amenity to suit his unique lifestyle.

Matt Collins, who goes by “The Collector” on YouTube, has amassed online fame by showing off his many “collections,” from a host of one-of-a-kind sports cars to rare arcade games, and—perhaps his most talked-about possessions—his priceless guns.

Having spent years amassing his high-priced collections, Collins, who owns property in Colorado and North Dakota, has now created a jaw-dropping space to house them all.

“Hey guys, Collector here! Welcome to my home. Today, I’m going to show you my idea of a man cave, and yeah, you’re probably wondering what this place looks like. But trust me, it’s always being added to, so you’re in for a treat,” he tells viewers as he walks into the basement, which is set up as themed rooms.

“This place, it’s like an ongoing project,” he continues.

Collins starts his tour showing off his enormous in-home golf simulator, which he “and the wife” love to play on. So much so that, he has a golf simulator in his office as well as in his house.

“I’ve got the original at my office, but this one—this one’s a game changer. It’s got a couple hundred games on it,” he says.

Next, Collins moves on to his pinball machine: “Meet my John Wick pinball machine,” he says. “My wife is obsessed with the movies—she has to have everything ‘John Wick,'” he says of the game inspired by the hit Keanu Reeves movie franchise.

“This one’s serial No. 5, limited edition. It’s got all the bells and whistles. The updates are a pain, though. They delete my high scores—but hey, it’s part of the fun. When they update it, it changes the game completely, which is kind of cool. And yeah, it even connects to Wi-Fi.”

The pinball machine is one of an array of arcade games Collins collects, many of them incredibly rare and often costing upward of $10,000.

Perhaps one of Collins’ most loved spaces began as a gift-wrapping room, which he transformed into a custom space to house his firearm collection.

“This is where all the high-end guns go,” he says. “I was tired of laying them on the floor.”

The room has custom storage to house the jewels of the collection, with Collins noting in a separate video tour of the space that it also doubles as a “bunker room” where he and his family can seek safety in the event of an attack or natural disaster.

“Most of these came from Utah Air Guns,” Collins says of his collection. “But I’ve also got some really rare pieces.”

One ultrarare item in the space is a “John Wick” safe, a $100,000 design that looks near-identical to one seen in the third installment of the movie franchise. The safe is outfitted with a leather sofa, multiple guns, and several knives, all of which are custom-made to fit inside the marble interior.

“They were only supposed to make 10 of these, but they only made four,” Collins reveals. “I got No. 4, and believe it or not, Post Malone has No. 1.”

In a separate video, he reveals the safe’s installation: “It took eight guys to bring it in in a Bobcat. It was a lot of work. It has marble in it, it has the chair in it that rolls out, knives from the movie.”

Collins’ man cave also features a history-themed room, filled with Revolutionary War and World War II memorabilia, and a room filled with car racing memorabilia.

“The wife and I are big Audi and Porsche fans,” Collins says. “We’ve met a lot of drivers over the years, so we’ve got a bit of their history here.”

Collins also reveals a bowling alley.

“I’m not the best bowler, but I had to have it,” he explains. “Just felt like it was missing from the space.”

Collins led the camera into his beloved fine-pistol room, where custom firearms are stored in sleek, climate-controlled displays.

“Half a million dollars worth of pistols in here,” he reveals. “They send me one a month—well, now it’s every two months—but it’s always a treat.”

Finally, Collins showed viewers his indoor gun range, with ammo and guns stored in safes. In total, the space is estimated to have cost around $500,000 to install.

“I built this long before YouTube took off,” he says. “This is where you’ll find me most of the time, guys. I hope you enjoyed the tour. Take care, and thanks for stopping by!”
