Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are preparing to open up their sprawling New York home in a new TLC reality series that will reveal an intimate glimpse inside their lives as parents to seven children.

The married couple, who share Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, Marilu, 4, and Ilaria, 2, will offer the world a sneak peek inside their homes, having filmed much of their new show at both their New York apartment and their sizable retreat in the Hamptons.

Alec, 66, and Hilaria, 41, who wed in 2012 after meeting at a vegan restaurant in New York City, have spent much of their married life living inside a luxury apartment building, where they own a whopping four apartments between them.

The first, which was purchased by “30 Rock” star Alec for $11.7 million back in 2011, is an enormous 4,137-square-foot penthouse that boasts four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and came complete with outdoor space.

However, as Alec and Hilaria continued to expand their family, they also expanded their real estate holdings, snapping up three more units in the same Greenwich Village building, all of which are located on the same floor, allowing them to create an enormous abode for their kids.

They have since added three more apartments on the same story to their property holdings.

In 2012, Hilaria bought her own 12th-floor unit for $1.2 million, adding another 840 square feet to their dwelling, which seemed to provide the duo ample space for their brood for several years.

Then, in 2017, months before welcoming their fourth child, son Romeo, Alec purchased a much more modest 480-square-foot studio on the same story, this time paying $1.3 million.

He followed that up two years later with a $1.7 million purchase in 2019.

Now, the fruits of their labor will be put on full display in their upcoming reality series “The Baldwins,” which premieres Feb. 23 and will offer viewers a look at the couple’s somewhat chaotic lifestyle inside the luxury city dwelling.

Speaking to People ahead of the series release, the couple conceded that they have had their fair share of uphill struggles when it comes to raising such a large brood—but they insist that they wouldn’t have it any other way.

“This is our lives,” Alec said. “I always joke with her and say, ‘You know where I should be right now, don’t you? We should be on [David] Geffen’s yacht, drinking a cappuccino and reading a book, and having dinner with [Steven] Spielberg or whatever.”

Alec purchased the Long Island home for $1.75 million back in 1996—but has tried to sell it for as much as $29 million in recent years.

When he listed the home for sale, the description noted that there is potential to expand the existing 10,000-square-foot farmhouse and opportunity to build another home on the 8-acre property.

But while Alec may have ample opportunity to live the high life on a yacht in Europe, he says he “wouldn’t change anything” about the lifestyle he has chosen.

Still, the couple are more privileged than most—even without the ability to jet off on lavish vacations with billionaire pals at a moment’s notice.

Not only have they been able to build an expansive palace in New York City, they also have the option of escaping to their Hamptons estate when Manhattan life becomes too stifling.

Alec purchased the sizable Amagansett property for the relatively low price of $1.75 million back in 1996, and while he has made several attempts to sell it over the past few years—putting it on the market for between $19 million and $29 million—it appears he and Hilaria have decided to hold onto the home, at least for now.

The 8-acre property features a 10,000-square-foot farmhouse that provides the family with far more space than they enjoy at their Manhattan home—with the added bonus of the enormous outdoor spaces where the kids can play.

The luxurious home features covered porches and two balconies. Amenities include a home theater, wine-tasting room, and wood-paneled library. The grounds include a pool and spa, pavilion, and vegetable garden.

According to People, the couple get regular use out of the home, with the outlet noting that they often “ferry” their family from Manhattan to Long Island.

When it was listed, the description noted that there was an opportunity to expand the existing home, as well as potential to build another, equally-impressive property on the land.

According to People, the home is still getting plenty of use, with the outlet noting that the couple regularly “ferry” their family between the property and their Manhattan penthouse—along with their many pets.

The home has also served as something of a sanctuary for the couple over the years. It was in their Hamptons estate that the family hunkered down during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they also spent time at the dwelling in the wake of the fatal shooting on the set of Alec’s movie, “Rust.”

In October 2021, an unimaginable tragedy unfolded when he accidentally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead while practicing with a prop gun that had been wrongly loaded with live ammunition.

Alec was ultimately charged with involuntary manslaughter—however, the case against him was dismissed by a judge in July 2024.
