It’s on. The Kansas City Chiefs are once again preparing to face off against their rival team, the Buffalo Bills—this time, for a chance at representing the AFC in the 2025 Super Bowl.

The Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, will be squaring off against Bills quarterback Josh Allen in this championship game.

Mahomes and Allen have developed a rivalry during the years they’ve led their respective teams—and with each passing season, that competitive dynamic seems increasingly intense.

The 2025 season saw the Chiefs earn the No. 1 spot in the AFC regular season, while the Bills took the second seed. But, as so many NFL fans know, a lot can change in the pre-Super Bowl playoffs.

While the rivals’ quarterbacking prowess will be on full display as they take their best shot at a place in the Super Bowl, one clear winner will be decided.

But when it comes to Mahomes’ and Allen’s respective real estate holdings, it’s hard to say which athlete comes out on top.

Off the field, the two men lead very different lives. While Allen is newly engaged to actress Hailee Steinfeld, Mahomes is married to his high school sweetheart, Brittany, and the pair share three kids.

Just 29, the superstar has delivered three Super Bowl championships—and, with his very pricey contract currently set to last through 2031, he has plenty of opportunity to lead his team to many more victories in the future.

The well-paid player, who was selected by the Chiefs in 2017, brought the team to their first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years in the 2019 team season, claiming a win against the San Francisco 49ers. Kansas City has since won the Super Bowl twice more with Mahomes.

And the three-time Super Bowl MVP was richly rewarded, signing a 10-year contract extension in 2020 reported to be worth over $500 million.

The now three-time Super Bowl champ has some swanky real estate as well—from a penthouse in Kansas City to a mansion in Texas.

In 2019, he picked up a three-bedroom, midcentury modern abode that he gutted to fit a massive shoe closet. Set on an acre, the suburban abode features a backyard pool, a wet bar, wine room, and gym.

In 2023, he and wife Brittany Mahomes placed their modest abode on the market asking $2.9 million, eventually selling it later in the year for an undisclosed price.

While he let go of one of his homes in Kansas City, MO, Mahomes still owns his two-bedroom penthouse there from his bachelor days. He picked up the place in 2018 and attempted to sell it in 2019 for $485,000. The 1,800-square-foot unit comes with an upper-level roof deck.

The Texas native also owns an off-season mansion in Westlake, TX. The four bedroom, 7,800-square-foot estate on a half-acre lot comes with lots of baller perks—a wine room, family room with a gas fireplace, and an outdoor space with a gas fireplace, grill grotto, lounging fire pit area, large pool, tan deck, and spa.

Mahomes seems to be expanding his empire. He also purchased a massive piece of land in Belton, MO, that appears to be the site of a future megamansion. The spread sits on 8 private acres.

Josh Allen

Congratulations are in order. The 28-year-old has made his relationship to actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld Instagram-official as of Nov. 22, 2024. That’s when he posted a pic of their engagement—a photo liked by Taylor Swift, among 2.1 million other well wishers on Steinfeld’s account.

Allen was selected by the Bills in 2018 in Round 1 as the seventh overall pick, and he’s been with the team ever since.

The two-time Pro Bowler has led the team to a total of six playoff appearances, five consecutive division titles, seven postseason victories, and two conference championship game appearances.

The California native may well have another reason to head to SoCal for the off season these days: Steinfeld, also 28, lives there—in an $8 million Encino mansion. She purchased her Los Angeles palace from fellow musician John Fogerty in 2021.

Custom-built in 2016, the spread features a massive 9,000 square feet, six bedrooms, and eight bathrooms. Fogerty picked it up in 2018 before putting it back on the market three years later. The highlight may be the backyard, which boasts a pool with a water feature, spa, and an outdoor kitchen.

But as an escape to New York’s frigid temps, Allen’s Dana Point, CA, beach house is also a score. According to Mansion Global, the sports star picked up the pad in 2023 for $7.2 million.

Located in a 24-hour, guard-gated neighborhood with its own private beach club, the coastal Orange County abode—”reminiscent of California’s mid century architecture” the listing notes—offers four bedrooms and three baths across 2,800 square feet.

The home is “tastefully designed,” with access to the private and expansive backyard.

When the California native is playing Bills home games, he has a place to rest his head in the Buffalo suburb of Orchard Park, NY. He paid $660,000 in 2018 for the newly constructed, four bedroom, 5,100-square-foot abode.
